This is the glorious country I will be traveling to. I will mostly be in eastern Guatemala. Here are some important facts:

*Natural Hazzards: numerous volcanoes in mtns, occasional violent earthquakes, hurricanes, tropical storms
*Population: 13,002,206
*Languages: Spanish 60%, Amerindian languages 40%
*Unemployment Rate: 3.2%
*Population below poverty line: 56.2%
