I'm writing-o en mi blog-o.

I haven't really written in a while. My bad. I sort of started to hate this website because I couldn't figure it out. I tend to be like that - if I don't get something right away I give up. I should work on that.

I posted an "entry" or whatever these Internet journals are called on September 13, but it wasn't very informative. I will do an update of my life...

In late June and early July I was an EFY counselor in Bloomington, Indiana and Normal, Illinois. It was a pretty sweet gig.

I was so excited about wearing the special counselor shirt and having a spiffy name tag. My girls were amazing and beautiful! I hope to remain friends with them. I have so many pictures of my "youth" that I just LOVE, but for sake of blog length and the time it takes to upload... I will only choose one.

These were my girls in Normal, Illinois. We were playing a game called "Dit, dit, dit." I loved it! I should try and make it popular here.

My company names were: Them That Slept (Indiana) and With a Loud Voice (Illinois).

Our company name in Illinois was perfect. (With a Loud Voice) We had a group of 30 youth-- two groups of 10 girls and a group of 10 boys.

I think the best thing about EFY was everything that I learned. I became more confident in teaching and testifying of Jesus Christ and His Gospel. I would strongly recommend this summer experience for anyone with energy.

This summer I also was a live-in nanny for my aunt. I watched her two kids, Alex and Cookie. I love going to their house. It is out in the country.

This is looking out there porch. A little to the right is a wheat field, which they harvested during my stay.

You can't really tell in the picture, but there is a house that has a barn and a field for a horse. My cousins and I cut up some apples to go feed the horses... but we couldn't get the horses to come to us when we got there.

My cousin Alex is really fun when we go on little adventures like this. He will pack is backpack with all the incidentals he may need. (ie: a long sleeve shirt even though it is 80 degrees, bottles of coke, snacks) He likes to pretend he is Indiana Jones.

My other cousin, Cookie is just adorable! He is the younger one. He likes to jump off the couch and have me take pictures. I may have taught him that game... I hope his mother doesn't mind.

His name isn't really Cookie. His brother nicknamed him that when he was a baby and it stuck. He is slowly learning his name is really Bradley. They are just two of the "funnest" cousins ever.

ANOTHER awesome-fun-super-rad-fantastic-fabulous event was going to Utah. I stayed with Claire Hacking for a week. She was my chauffeur and her house was my hotel. It was elegant.

I was able to do baptisms at two temples-- Salt Lake City and Jordan River. I think my favorite was Jordan River. They were the busiest. I hear its on of the most "productive" temples.

I went to the visitors center and went up the spiral ramp to see the Christus and listen to the recording. It was beautiful! I especially love this picture. I only wish I could know what this little girl was thinking or feeling. I like to think it was something like... "I love Jesus"... not, "is it time for lunch?"

I went to the Pioneer Day Parade.

Highlights:
1. Drinking water from a bag (they sell it that way!!!)
2. Space Missionaries
3. Seeing a prophet for the first time.

I went to see my first water polo game! Go Claire!! I think they lost, but it was fun to see! It was also a quick game-- important for my attention span.

I was able to see some long-time family friends. The Grahams! They fed Claire and I pie and ice cream.

I saw the prophet AGAIN! This was at Music and the Spoken Word. I also was able to see the Osmond's for the first time. They performed... and then the prophet gave them some award. I think it was thanking them for their wholesomeness... or something to that effect. It was pleasant.

Well, that was Utah. I don't know how to un-underline... so I imagine the rest of my post will be like this.

After Utah-- WEST/JONES WEDDING!!!

This is me after the wedding. (No more underlining I guess...) I took my hair down... and I was sweaty and tired... BUT!!! Its the only picture I have of my bouquet. Laura did an excellent job in choosing that.

I don't actually have any pictures from her wedding.... I was the maid of honor, and that is my excuse. Weddings are so fun, but so crazy....

We DID get to do the Cha Cha Slide and the Chicken Dance, so life was good.

My brother and sister came: Bryce and Sarah. I think my brother is just so handsome and my sister is so pretty!!! You would never guess she was 13 and he is 18.

That pretty much wraps up the favorite parts of the summer! At the very end, I moved into where I live now-- with Jeff and Alisha Hillam. There have been many adventures since then. Stay tuned for updates.

My bed. (Where I am going now)
